Welcome to our Tribute Fund. We have created this page to help raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association. We have set up this page in honour of our Dad - Mick Mason who was diagnosed 24 August 2006 with MND and subsequently died on 8 March 2007. The speed with which the disease took our Dad was extremely rapid. Mick was 63 years old when he died, a wonderful husband to our Mum, Lorna, a great Dad to us and an even better Grandad to his 12 grandchildren. Up until a month before diagnosis he was still working hard as a builder 5 days a week. Although he is no longer with us, we would like to keep raising money to help fund the research into the cause and hopefully one day a cure to help future sufferers and their families not have to go through the agonising journey we as a family have experienced.
